TachoSAFE is a complex digital tachograph data management solution that includes hardware developed for this purpose and related cloud-based data storage and analysis services. Our task was to deliver solutions for modern processing and visualization of tachograph data and to develop a reporting platform.
From an architectural perspective, we optimized the cloud-based operation of the implemented solution so that the reporting platform became a single-page application using client-side resources, while the back-end is completely stateless and easily scalable thanks to the Spring Boot pipeline. Due to the large amount of redundantly stored data, we had to restructure the database to improve data processing efficiency.
As a result of the project, all SVT partners now have access to their own tachograph data organized into different types of reports. The reports available in the new module help clients in several areas: they can more efficiently monitor drivers' work and more easily comply with international transport safety regulations. The exported reports can also be used in legal compliance procedures.
